Anonymous: US security firms ‘planned to attack WikiLeaks’
The hacker collective Anonymous claims to have unearthed proposals by a consortium of US security firms to attack WikiLeaks, ahead of reportedly planned disclosures about the Bank of America.
Leaked emails apparently suggest that three private security firms – HBGary Federal, Palantir Technologies and Berico Technologies – pitched a plan to undermine the whistleblowers’ site to a law firm which has represented the Bank of America. BoA, the largest US bank, is thought to be the next target of WikiLeaks releases.

Flash News: Latest from Wikileaks and Assange
10.05am: Anonymous has conducted a revenge attack on the Dutch authorities following the arrest yesterday of a 16-year-old boy suspected of hacking MasterCard and Visa.
A translation of the Dutch paper NRC Handlesbland suggests that the group hacked the Dutch police site.
9.32am: Anonymous seems to be changing tactics. Operation: Payback could be morphing into Operation:Leakspin. The idea is to highlight the best and and least exposed cables.
9.05am: First Russia, and now China suggests nominating Julian Assange for the Nobel Peace Prize. Read more
Opération Payback : Anonymous attaque à tout-va
Les hackers ayant pris fait et cause pour Julian ont accru leurs cyber-attaques jeudi contre « les adversaires de WikiLeaks » dont le fondateur est en à Londres, alors que le site continuait à diffuser les télégrammes diplomatiques américaine.
Après Visa, Mastercard et d’autres sociétés qui avaient suspendu leurs services de paiements à WikiLeaks, le site du gouvernement suédois a été mis hors service plusieurs heures ont rapporté jeudi les médias suédois. Read more

Opération payback: les hackers contre aux « ennemis » de Wikileaks:MasterCard, Visa, PayPal…
Sécurité – Depuis le début de la semaine, le groupe de hackers lance des attaques DDoS qui ont notamment paralysé plusieurs sites dont ceux de PayPal et de MasterCard. Hier soir, Anonymous s’est attaqué à Visa et a publié une liste présumée de 10 000 numéros de cartes bancaires MasterCard. Paypal a annoncé qu’il restituait les fonds bloqués sur le compte de Wikileaks. Read more
WikiLeaks: L’espionnage de Google par Pékin
En janvier 2010, Google annonce avoir été victime au cours des derniers mois d’une série d’opérations de cyber-espionnage. Des pirates informatiques ont réussi à pénétrer ses serveurs et à voler des données personnelles et des messages privés appartenant à des citoyens chinois, notamment des dissidents politiques. Google affirme que les attaques venaient de Chine, et accuse indirectement le gouvernement chinois – sans fournir de preuve.
