Big banks censorship of Wikileaks
Since December 2011, five major US financial institutions: VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, Western Union, and the Bank of America have been trying to economically strangle WikiLeaks as a result of political pressure from Washington.The attack has blocked over 90% of the non-profit organization’s donations, costing some $15M in lost revenue. Sécurité – Depuis le début de la semaine, le groupe de hackers lance des attaques DDoS qui ont notamment paralysé plusieurs sites dont ceux de PayPal et de MasterCard. Hier soir, Anonymous s’est attaqué à Visa et a publié une liste présumée de 10 000 numéros de cartes bancaires MasterCard. Paypal a annoncé qu’il restituait les fonds bloqués sur le compte de Wikileaks. Read more
